Graham Wadeley is the Owner/Director/Founder of Voltage Electrified Fencing.

Graham returned from a 7 year stint overseas and began to make his mark in the security industry. Initially the business entailed Iview and CCTV camera systems. After a year in the ever-demanding security industry, Graham recognized the potential in the electrified fencing industry and took advantage of the gap in the market.
  

In 2004 Voltage was established, over six years the company has grown from a small business to a household brand.   Graham speaks about his brand and affiliates: “My secret to success has been service, something I learnt at a young age and mastered when working abroad for 7 years.   I came from a technical background and have applied my knowledge and skill into Voltage. I also have a serious passion for interior design and renovations, thus our fences really do stand out from the rest of our competitors. They are neat and add to the aesthetics of your property. This goes to show that an electric fence need not be an eye sore but can add value to your property, besides offering you the first line of defence security. For 3 years I worked alone with my crew of assistants but the demand for service and the rapid expansion of the company required me to share my knowledge and expand my company.

 
I now currently have 8 full time staff members, Morné, Oubrees, Nigel, Gift, Jonothan, Ikraam, Freda and Caryn who has recently joined in the marketing department.”

 

Get to know my staff:

Morné comes from a personal training background and joined the company in 2007. Since essentially running his own business within the gym he knows all about client service. Morné is the installation manager and oversees all installations. In 3 years he has become an electric fence wizard and is capable of setting up any system, be it a single zone fence or 20 zone fence. He is the nicest of guys and is a great asset to Voltage.

 

Oubrees, Nigel and Gift, are 2 brothers and a cousin and are from the Transkei. They have all been with me from the start and have themselves become experts in their particular fields. I truly hope to have them around for the next 6 years. Voltage only employs South African assistants as I understand the urgency of employment and contribution to our economy. Ikraam joined Voltage in 2009, he is my Automation specialist. He comes from a background of electronics. He is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to gate and garage automation, intercoms, alarms and locks. So far he has proven to be a great asset and it is my hope that he grows with Voltage as we go from strength to strength.

 
Jonothan has recently started with the company. He has already picked up a wealth of knowledge spending his days on site with Ikraam who has proven to be an efficient staff member and mentor. Soon Jonohan will be out in the field on his own attending to service calls on various systems that we service and repair.

Freda, is not only my mom but also my receptionist. Freda is the voice behind 0861-Voltage (865 824) and I’m very proud to have her on board.

Caryn is our most recent employee; she has joined our marketing department.
She comes from a PR background and her sole job is to assist me in finding new business in this ever demanding and growing industry.
